Daily Folder
Students will have a daily folder containing a school planner, homework, important letters, and completed independent work. Their daily folder will also contain a zipper pouch for money and notes that you or I need to send. Please check your child’s daily folder every night.
Graded papers will also be sent home in this folder on every other Tuesday. Please sign and return these papers the for the next day.
Homework
For homework students are asked to read every night. Reading and Math homework assignments will be sent home on Monday and must be completed and turned in by Friday of that week. This will earn each child extra money.
Conduct
I like to incorporate classroom economy in the classroom. Each child will earn money for good behaviors and will owe money for bad behaviors. At the end of each week, each child will have a chance to purchase items from our in classroom store. Students may spend their money or save it for a bigger prize.
Money
All money should be sent in your child’s zipper pouch and labeled. If the money is not labeled, we will assume it is for breakfast or lunch. Mrs. Ramsey, at the front office, can NOT accept money.
Snack
Each day, we will have snack in our classroom. If you want your child to eat snack, please send it from home. Please send snacks/drinks that are quick and easy to both eat and clean up. PLEASE, NO candy, candy bars or soda.
